My flowers are dying ðŸ˜
Hi everyone
I know this has probably been asked a lot but does anyone have any ideas as to why my babies are dying?
They were planted into a newly made flower bed that we reshaped in our new garden. I'm wondering if the soil is far too dry or lacking nutrients..

Perhaps it's more a spot for drought tolerant plants? The Dianthus seem quite happy. You still need to water things while they get their roots established though.
Lift the wilted plants and plunge them in a bucket of water for a couple of hours. They may well recover and then can be replanted, but you must water them throughly every few days.
It takes a while for quite hefty plants to establish - there's a lot of growth on those, so it can take a little while, especially if you've had a lot of dry weather. Cooler, damper conditions make it much easier. The Echinacea and Osteospermum [?]Â are very near the fence where it will be drier anyway, and the areas where fence posts are is also more difficult because of the concrete. Those two are very close to a post.Â
Keep them well watered until they perk up.Â
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
