Looking for ideas of materials to use to cover coldframe

Watched the episode where they made the coldframe from an old pallet.  I have tonnes of old wood lying around my yard.  Problem is with COVID, I cannot find any plexiglass anywhere.  What are other materials that I could use as the lid part of the cold frame?

    Well I used a door. It’s an interior door, wood frame and single large piece of toughened glass. It’s a bit heavy I suppose, but it does the job.

    Basement window well cover?  Or clear corrugated plastic sheeting?

    I've seen people use shower doors, glass shelves from a fridge, and even the clear plastic drawers.  Maybe ask on Freecycle or a junk yard.

    I found a heavy duty clear shower curtain... $15... So I am good to go.  Should be enough for 2 frames.
