Plum Conundrum

I have a two year old patio plum tree which I planted in a bed rather than a pot. My question is about pruning. I would like to keep it where it is but control the growth and train it into a columnar tree. However it appears to have more than one main stem. Which stems am I best reducing in size?  Appreciate advice.
