    You can't be too careful with ponies, they will break out of anywhere if they think there is something better for them to eat, I learnt to ride on a Shetland then had an Exmoor.

    She had her moments, riding her one day I came across a red flag stuck in the hedge; she took exception and would not go past. After much trying she eventually side stepped up the hedge and bunny hopped across behind the flag then back on the road!

    Scamp could be out of control at a walk if there was something to eat ... he was sold to me as being suitable for my children to ride ... huh 🙄 I sold him on to someone who lived on the coast and intended to ride him on the beach ... I was honest about his greedy ways ... she said there’d be nothing there for him to eat ... I worry about picnickers 😟
