Milkweed or...?

strelitzia32strelitzia32 Posts: 758
This thing seemingly appeared overnight while I wasn't looking. I'm pretty sure this is milkweed and not a fancy euphorbia that I might actually want (although I'm not a fan of euphoria anyway, so it's on borrowed time!).

Please can anyone confirm, so I know whether to go find the gloves and pull it out?

Aren't they the same thing in the UK? Euphorbia peplus aka petty spurge, milkweed and a few others  :) and I can't stand the things either.

Aha, I thought there are "fancy" euphorbias that people want, and weedy ones. Didn't realize they are one and the same.

    Out it comes!

You are probably right strelizia32 didn't think of that, don't like any of them!

I'm more your weeds and veg type of gardener so the fancy ones will not have crossed my radar  :D

There is only one I will have anywhere near and that is Poinsettia and only because my late husband insisted we have one every year.
