Winter veg to plant now?

What veg would would you recommend for growing over winter, outside in pots? Is it too late too plant kale seeds?

    Adam Frost was sowing kale on last night's GW- go for it! :)

    Chard  could be planted now for over winter, winter cooking radishes and beetroot for an autumn harvest

    I will be sowing cabbage seeds for Spring harvesting on the 1st August. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
