What's wrong with my sweet peas and is it too late to fix?

Many of my sweet peas are getting yellow and wrinkled leaves. The flowers are also dropping and drooping.  what might this be and can I fix it? I've grown sweet peas quite a few time but they seem to be really problematic this year! Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thank you!

Just bumping this up to see if anyone can help. Have tried googling but got confused between the different problems sweet peas can get.

Mine sometimes get leaves like that. I suspect it’s a result of a bit of aphid damage but it doesn’t seem to harm the plants.

No idea about the flowers drooping... can we see a pic or two?

That's good to hear @Dovefromabove   this year seems to be really bad for aphids. Never had an issue before.

I tried to show the drooping flowers in the second photo. Will pop out and try to take a better photo.

Ah, I’ve zoomed in ... dont they straighten up as they open?

Here's some more photos. I am thinking of digging up the worse affected plants. It's making me very sad looking at them

Mine are doing exactly the same as yours ... that’s how they always grow

I don't have a single bud on any of mine yet

Thanks both! I'm reassured. Hopefully the bud drop will stop soon too! It's been a strange year for sweet peas. Many people seem to have had issues with them...

    All normal.  :)
Sweet pea foliage is notoriously ugly as time goes on, so it pays to have other plants in front of them to hide it if possible. They get leaf miner damage too - that's usually the biggest problem as far as insect damage goes, once you get past the slug/snail stuff  ;)
They also need plenty of food and water, so just ensure that's the case. Keep deadheading too - no point in food going to help produce seed. The more you deadhead, the longer they'll flower for. I do mine every day if possible.

That's how the flowers grow - they straighten as they mature and open up. Nothing to worry about.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
