Pear tree leaves are wilting

I planted 2 pear trees about 18 months ago and got the first blossom this year but the one tree looks diseased. Should I dig it out or persevere?

It could be pear rust or pear blister mite and the only way to tell is to check the back of the leaves.    You need to remove and destroy all the affected leaves but first I would check if it's thirsty and, if so, give it a good, deep drink of water - at least 10 litres poured slowly so it soaks in deep - because disease usually sets in when plants are stressed..
