It looks like a euonymus suffering from something called Anthracnose. It's usually worse if there was very wet weather in the Spring.
  • Do I need to do anything to get rid of it or will it did? I did water it yesterday but made sure no water went on the leaf. Thanks

If it is Anthracnose, it's a type of fungus. The best thing is to clear away any fallen leaves and stems and take off any really badly affected leaves.
    A fungicide would probably help.
Hopefully others may have advice as l'm only 85 % certain that's what it is.
