Yellowing Ammi, problem?

Helloo,

I've grown some Ammi majus this year, as filler for the most part, and it's been doing very well despite constant blackfly problems. It's had some white/yellow marking in it which has spread fairly rapidly over the last couple of weeks. Just wondering if it's anything to worry about, perhaps a virus I need to avoid putting in the compost?

Cheers

May have something to do with your soil being over rich, over fed, the Cosmos are all green, no flowers, wild flowers thrive on poor soil.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

Maybe, though I don't think my soil is particularly rich. Cosmos are all out now though, flowering well. I pulled out most of the ammi as it looked a mess.
