Can anyone identify this shurb?

Hello everyone,

My grandmother has had this shurb in her garden for the past decade but she has no idea what it is, as it self seeded.

For many years it stayed about 1-2ft tall, but has since grown high dramatically to about 7ft tall.

April - May it flowers small yellow flowers, and as you can see in the photos, they have small blue fruits.

If anyone can help to identify it, it would be greatly appreciated by myself and my grandmother :)

Thank you!

Thanks for posting! I had a look at the flowers on Google images and that is the very one!

Thank you for your help 😊

I've been noticing this shrub a lot lately, I really like the little damson-like fruits. I am not a fan of the orangey yellow flowers though.

I don't think I've seen it anywhere where I'm from, might start making a point of trying to spot it.
I agree, I like the fruits more than the flowers :)
