After an hour shelling peas and only doing enough for about 5 meals, I have a newfound respect for Birds Eye!
I looked up how industrial pea shelling works, fascinating stuff. Anyone have any other clever and interesting machine suggestions, especially where the fruit or veg in question is particularly difficult or delicate? For example, potatoes are straight forward, but I'm curious to see a lychee peeler in action.
