Achillea 'Cloth of Gold' alternative?

Is there a less invasive alternative to achillea 'Cloth of Gold' which is similar in height and colour?

I grow achillea gold plate which looks very similar, I haven’t found it to be invasive at all.

    How about a coreopsis?
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I have Gold Plate too, and while it has become large it has stayed where it was put. I leave the seedheads on over winter, so I do get lots if seedlings, but they're easy to remove.

  • Thanks everyone. Coreopsis is an interesting idea but I need something taller, so Gold Plate may fit the bill.

    Much appreciated!
