Spent Mushroom Compost

I have recently bought 10 bags of mushroom compost. I recall hearing (I think) that there are some places in the garden where it is best not to use it. As I have just spread some on one of the borders perhaps I have left this question too late. Can anyone put me straight about this please.
Many thanks.

It often contains lime, so best not use it on lime-hating plants, such as azaleas, rhododendrons, blueberries etc.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
