my damson tree has for two yrs produced banana shaped fruit should it be cut down. its young tree a reminace of garden sold off to build two bungalows, one mine.
I4t suddenly apeared about 6 yrs ago so let it grow to discover what it was.
I am trying to keep it at around 6-7ft high so its managable for my aged bones.
If not to dispose what would cure its obvious disease and could this spread to apple plum and pear trees 15 -19 feet away.
