Deformed antirhinnum snapdragons?

I have grown different varieties of snapdragons for the first time and have had some very unusual results!  They are pretty but just not right.

Basically, they have not flowered as snapdragons.  The seeds were from a known supplier (Kings) and otherwise appear to be snapdragons (leaves etc.) and some have turned out normal.  If it was from just one packet, I would be less bemused, but the deformities have occurred with multiple varieties.

I have searched for answers but have not found any images of similar anomalies.

Any thoughts or answers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hello @markpeterallman and welcome to the forum  :)

Do you still have the seed packs?  Do you know the name of the varieties?  I think my first move would be to email Kings with copies of your photographs and ask for their comments.

Let us know what they say  :)

    Edited to say:

I think I may have solved the puzzle ... a quick google search came up with this
    https://www.kingsseeds.com/Products/Flowers-A-D/Antirrhinum/Antirrhinum-majus-Twinny-Peach-F1

It looks as if you may have the seeds of a 'double' variety of antirrhinum ... if that's not what you ordered then there's obviously been a glitch in the packing department at Kings.

    They are very pretty  :)

Thank you so much @Dovefromabove!  I have my first garden after 20 years of living in flats and over the last 2 years, have fallen in love with gardening.  You will be seeing more of me here!

I kept the seed packets and you are correct - one was 'Twinny Appleblossom F1' (stated as a double variety on Kings' website) and one was 'Cheerio mixed F2 hybrid' (not stated as a double variety in Kings' description but after a search, it is stated as a double on other seed websites).  The other three (not pictured) were 'Night and Day', Lucky Lips and 'Circus Clown Mix' which are flowering as expected!

I did not realise that there was such a thing as a double variety.  It has and will be a continual learning curve!  You're right, they are very pretty.  Now I know that they are what they were meant to be, I am going to continue enjoying them.  That is, if we get a return of some fine weather!

    Thanks again!

They’re beautiful, if you dead head for now they’ll keep going then at the end of the season let them go to seed and dry on the plant, you can grow more next year, they may not all come true but some will.
