Mystery 'grass' needs an ID please.

Saw this 'grass' growing in some rough gravel near a road.It stood out because the sun shone on it to make it a stunning lime green.
But I am now wondering if anyone knows what it is?
Maybe from bird seed perhaps.

    Maybe Sesleria autumnalis?

No I don't think it is that.
I think it may be a grain of some sort growing in the same way that perhaps wheat would grow as a single stalk. It was not clump forming at all.
I may have to go back and yank one out of the gravel!!!

No,I have that in my garden already. :)
It is not clump forming so still think it may be some sort of annual wheat.

Went back to the gravel patch and pulled up a stem of the plant.
May give someone an idea of what it might be!
It is about a foot or so tall.

I looked at it and thought that's corn but I'm not so sure now. We need one of our farming members to advise.

    Could it be millet?

    Maybe a type of millet?
Looks like someone may have chucked their budgie cage contents onto the gravel!
