What has happened to the supply of John Innis compost. Looking for bags of No 3 delivered. Dont want bulk its too much.

    I assume it’s the ‘lockdown effect’. Huge spike in interest resulted in depleted stocks. Not been able to get any JI around here for weeks now.

    You can make some by mixing top soil, grit and multipurpose if premixed is not possible. The formulas are out there...the RHS has a good explainer https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=952

    The only place I've found any recently is B&Q, and only in 10L bags and I had to go farther afield as there was none in my local ones.   The Wigan store had dozens of them if you're anywhere near there!
