True Potato Seed

Hi all!
So some of my potato plants this year have flowered beautifully and some of those flowers have turned into potato berries!
I've done some preliminary reading up on how to seperate the seed from the berry to use it for planting next year. As a fun experiment nothing more.
Has anyone here done anything similar ie grown potatoes not from tubers but true potato seed? Please share your experience with me
Possible fun fact I just read: Every potato plant grown from true seed is a new variety
imagine little old me having a new variety of potato in my little back garden haha.
