Unruly Buddleja bhutanica flower/tree

I have just moved in to a new property with a nice big garden. Previous owners didn't give the garden or plants ant TLC and we have some beautiful plants from the previous previous owners. But they have all become overgrown and unruly.

This tree in particular is very pretty and I would like to keep it but it's growing I'm all different directions.

cut it in half in Novemberish, then as hard as you like about March. It'll bounce back and you can keep it under control then.

I agree with @Hostafan1 ... exactly what I was going to say. 👍

Nice crop of blackberries under it as well it seems! You can't kill that bush so do whatever you want to it, here we are advised to cut them down to the ground every year, I can't say I do but they don't seem to mind and they flower every year.
