Hi, Could any of you good people identify this plant? It has been growing since the spring but showing no sign of flowering

    Looks like Crocosmia to me. If correct, it should flower from about now until Autumn.

  • It looks just like my gladioli - if it is the flower stems should be coming up around now.  Crocosmia is currently in flower and this isn't.  Anticipate something lovely....

    I think gladioli too. Something about the shape of the fans.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

  • Thank you all for your input. I thought i would share this with you now it is in bloom. So, is it a crocosmia or a gladioli? Whatever it is it is beautiful. The next question is what do i do with it after it has finished flowering?
