Potato question

I've just pulled these up and have a question about the bumpy ones... These have come from what was left in the grow bags from last year so I have no idea the variety, size, etc and they never got any flowers on them but the leaves had died back so I decided to dig them up. There were a lot of empty skins in the soil as well as these, are all the darker bumpy bits on the potatoes part of what would have been skins and do I just scrub them off or are they fine as they are? At the very top of the photo you can see a different looking one which I'm assuming is how they should all have looked? Is it a case of I just left them too long before digging them up?

It's potato scab which is very common.  The potatoes will be fine - just scrub off the scabs as you say.  Don't save any of them for growing next year though.  The empty skins in the soil are the remains of the original seed potatoes you used. :)
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

The dark coloured one looks like the seed potato so it wont be edible.
