Is Water Hemlock dangerous?

I've had it my pond for years now and only recently realised what it was. I thin it out by hand two or three times in Spring and summer and had no problems. Is it any more poisonous than Foxglove for example.

Yes, but, like many other poisonous plants, it's OK if you wear gloves and are careful to protect your eyes.  Here's what the RHS says about it - https://www.rhs.org.uk/Plants/11723/i-Oenanthe-crocata-i/Details
