Could be the variety,  my Roma are thick leaved similar to that.
Plus they look like a potato leaf variety.

Have you already been feeding them?
They don't need anything until the first trusses of fruit set.
There are variations though, as @purplerallim says  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Ah - that's fine then @Alan4711 - I misunderstood,and thought you had been feeding a lot  :)
Probably just the variety then. If they're doing well apart form that, it's probably fine. I find they can get quite crowded if there's big foliage, or lots of it, so I remove some [ at the bottom especially] to keep a good airflow round the plants. That might be something you could do if you feel they're getting a bit triffid like  ;)

Many thanks for that, yes I have now thinned the triffids down a touch (Gardeners delight), and this first time with tommies and cues is quite enjoyable and trying to help the plants a bit too much has always been my problem, now ten mins ago I brought in our first cue ever from the greenhouse, so cheers for everyone's help ,Avagooden, Alan
