Another option could be to make it into a bench. Level the front off and add slabs or timber to sit on and you could always keep the back planted with nice smelling herbs like thyme.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
It's quite a prominent structure and definitely needs a bit more ambition than just filling with stonecrops. Ditch the grubby conifer, remove the "rocks" and improve the soil then plant something striking and interesting to look at from the house and give a perfumed backdrop to a seat.
