Leaf cutter bee in plant pot - can I water it

I have a leaf cutter bee building nests in my plant pot can I water the plant still ?

    Hello Helen  :) Welcome to the forum. 

    Your question "slipped through the net", so it's probably too late either for the plant or the bee moved on elsewhere. 
    I did find this on a blog, and it looks as though the watering didn't do any harm !

    What happened in the end ? Did you risk the watering? 



  • I have a large plantpot which was hidden under some bushes and when we cut back the bushes we realised there was a bees nest in the soil which had grass gowing on top and when we pulled this out we disturbed several bees. at least 6. I decided not to harm them and look after them as best I could. Today I saw what looked like a bumble bee and several smaller ones. The amount of bees I have seen seems unusual and would like to find out more. They seem very serene.
