Mystery plant I just bought. Any ideas?

I just bought this plant. It didn't have a label and as it was a discount store there wasn't much point in asking the staff. Any ideas, just in case I want to try and find more if the same?

I did think the flowers looked like Veronica but the growing habit is certainly different to the veronicas I have. It's like a mat-forming sprawling thing??

I have a Veronica which is mat forming

I've found it needs moisture and wilts badly when dry.. have moved mine and they are doing a lot better.

Thank you to you both. With a bit more research I've discovered that the plant is a Veronica Allionii. Wouldn't have got there without your help, so thanks again. I'll get it in the ground and see how it goes this year.

Sorry, but as I didn't know Veronica allionii  I looked it up.
It doesn't seem to match your plant at all... not  the leaves or the flowers.

You could be right actually. I was looking on my phone so couldn't see the pictures brilliantly. I would have thought it must be a Veronica though as the flower spikes look so much like the two Veronicas I do have. I know they are a varied bunch as one of the plants I have is about six inches tall and the other is four foot. But the flowers are at least the same on both. Even looking at the Allioniis there seems to be a bit of a variety between different examples. Back to square one maybe??

Could it be a verbena?  Maybe V.stricta?

The flowers are very similar, but the foliage is different. This one is more sprawling. I've been looking for ages now and can not find it anywhere!
