Is this normal for Penstemon?

Thus penstemon (Phoenix Magenta) was bought 6 weeks or so ago as a 1 litre pot plant, planted out 3 weeks or so ago.

I've noticed the flower heads are all rather droopy - is this normal? I know the flowers face downwards when they're fully out but just wanted to check that this is normal as the top of the stem seems to be drooping too!

Some of my "Garnet" penstemons are behaving in a similar way, l wondered if it was weather related.

Lol. It's actually not too bad today, quite muggy in fact. Yesterday was 17 degrees max which is frigid for July!

Just a few miles away in South Devon it's about 20 degrees ATM and humid. Windy too, although aforementioned penstemon is sheltered. Stay dry! Here come the grockles!

No problem it’s what they do, as they grow up they’ll be fine.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
