Cutting back hardy geraniums for reflowering - specifically cantabrigiense

Hi all, does anyone know if cantabrigiense respond to being cut back with new growth and flowers, like some other geraniums do, after flowering?

@B3 - Thanks, I didn't think they did but read conflicting guidance online

You cut back after flowering for fresh tidy growth. If they flower again it's a bonus. I did mine about three weeks ago, they're nice neat domes of foliage now. There is one new flower but I'm not betting on a repeat performance of late May/early June.

No, they don't rebloom... mine were still in full bloom until a few days ago, and I still have some flowers, so not ready to be cut back totally... I don't know about WillDB's area, but if I cut mine back 3 weeks ago they would have been in full flush..  you do get autumn colours on these..  I find they flower for about 8 weeks..

I deadhead these ones but don’t chop back. I find I get better autumn colour from the older leaves. 😃

Would feeding more often possibly help to re-bloom? Not necessarily with this variety I mean.

I have Geranium macrorrhizum 'Ingwersen's Variety' and haven't managed to get it re-flowering in the last 2 years. Was tempted to give it a few feeds this year as opposed to only after cutting it back to see if it might help. No harm in trying I suppose.
