Lupin seeds

Hi all, I am new to this site and new to gardening and I'm hoping you can all help me.
I have moved into a bungelow with a very large wonderful established garden. I'm trying to learn a lot but these is so much. I love love love my garden but still have lots to do.
My question: I have retrieved A LOT of lupin seeds today ( they were not brown) my seeds are moist and I've put in an envelope in my greenhouse for now. But what is my next step please. When can I plant out etc?

It would be usual to leave seeds on the plant until they go brown or black i.e. They are mature. I'd then seal them in an envelope marked with their variety and store them cool until next spring...that's general advice.
Your seeds might be OK but sadly may be immature. Gardening is a learning process.
