Saving Yew hedges
Hi
First post here!
Last autumn we bought 20 2m high root balled yews mainly for a hedge.
They got seriously battered by storms over winter and then a bit dried out this spring.
Several of them were very brown but we managed to save them using a handful of superphosphate each as well as plenty of watering.
3 are looking very dead but whilst most have sprung back from the point of oblivion; 3 are clinging to life by their fingertips (if they had them).
question : how often can I apply superphosphate and could I damage the plants if I over apply?
Thanks in anticipation
Phil

I'd not feed drought stressed plants. Keep on top of the watering and hold your nerve.
