More votes for Dorset Perennials, Wootens and Burnoose. They are some of the first places I look. Also Longacres, David Austin for Roses, Taylors for Clems.
Wayfair and Green Fingers are good for garden stuff (furniture, pots etc).
Wickes for delivered compost and discounts.
I use Gee Tee for bulbs/in the green - very cheap. It's definitely worth buying seeds and bulbs in bulk as they get cheaper and cheaper (large bags).
    Moles and Kings for seeds.
I give and sell quite a bit on local community networks and social media. Always worth keeping an eye on Freecycle and the like.

Burncoose is by far my favourite nursery. Their prices are on par with the dearer nurseries like Sarah Raven and Crocus, but I have found their plants larger and stronger. They have a great range of plants, including more unusual ones. Definitely my first stop when buying online, and hope to be able to go there one day (though that may cause bankruptcy :D

Thanks a million AnniD... I actually managed to pick some up from Ballyrobert Gardens as it just arrived back into stock this morning!! Only 9cm pots but I like to bring them on from a young stage!!
  • I second Dorset perennials. Perfect quality, well packaged and fast delivery. Their choice is so diverse.
Thompson and morgan totally let down by their delivery. You might get your plant in 2 weeks or 2 months however good quality and customer service always fast to fix issues.

I’d just like to give a mention to Penlan Perennials. I ordered some plants from them a couple of Sundays ago and they arrived on the following Tuesday, large, wonderfully healthy and well packed, far exceeded my expectations and I will definitely use them again.
At the beginning of June I ordered some Parahebe avalanche plants from Telegraph gardening as they were the only place online that seemed to have them in stock. I’m still waiting and when I checked my order confirmation email I realised that I hadn’t noticed the estimated delivery is April 2021!
I have been shielding and cannot wait for August so I can go to a nursery and get my plant fix😁

I have bought from Lubera, the plants arrived in good condition and delivery from Germany if I remember correctly was very fast but I dont think they listed anything that couldn't be bought here.
On the rose thread some overseas suppliers are recommended
