Are my strawberries ok?

I grew them from cold stored plants only a couple of weeks ago. I thought they were doing well but now I'm noticing that the fibres in the centre of the flower are going black. The only cause I can find online is frost damage but it was literally 2 weeks ago I planted them so I can't see how this is the case.... They're maras de bois variety. Is it something to worry about or is it what they should look like? They otherwise look pretty healthy. Pic attached as an example of the flowers and overall view of how I've planted them. Thanks  :)

Hard to see the photos on my phone, can you take a close up photo of the crowns (the middle bit of the strawberry where the leaves grow from, it should be above the ground). They look healthy from the photo though.

Couple of examples. I found it difficult to judge exactly where the crown begins but I basically planted them as shallow as I could without the roots exposing

I don't see anything wrong with them really, although I don't understand why they've been grown from cold storage?
I'd remove some of those flowers to let the plants mature a bit, and remove any dead foliage. You'll get a better crop of fruit next year.  They look like not much more than runners.
Strawberries also need a lot of food and water to thrive. What are they growing in?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thanks. They're just the way the website I bought them from happen to have supplied them. I didn't know they could be supplied like that either but I bought them on a whim just pleased I hadn't completely missed strawberry season  :D they're in a terracotta herb pot and are getting plenty of water. Haven't fed them yet. I know they slightly favour acidic conditions. Would you feed ericacious feed or something else?

No- mine just grow in any old compost.
I'd meant what sort of growing medium as opposed to the container ;)
Mine just get some slow release food, or tomato food. If they're staying potted, just be sure to replace and/refresh it each year as they use up nutrients very quickly :)

Ohhh ok. Yeh I just used standard all purpose compost basically. I'll keep that in mind and repot in a year or 2. Thanks for your help  :)

    Hi janntimson

You must have planted your plants around the same time I did, I was shocked my bare root ones took straight away and started growing the next day! I'm hitting the 2 weeks mark in a couple of days and my plants look about the same size as yours which is very reassuring.

I dont have much more to add to your query I think most pictures taken zoomed in as much as your original picture would look a bit weird :) but the plants overall look healthy.
