@GemmaJF you stated ‘ Only hate I ever see on these threads is from cat lovers.....’ which, as you correctly say, is an observation. At no point in my post did I say you were expressing hate. Apologies if my post was not clear.
So why did you state you had reported the post? Is an observation against the forum rules?
You are now one of two posters who are disguising ad hominem digs at me, behind some form of 'genuine concern' for forum rules.
For the record I only got involved in that part of the debate after the rather bizarre and anthropomorphic comment from @FlyDragon that I was under some delusion that 'cats hated me'.
I know I’m a new member, I have expressed how I felt about this because it is a serious issue when you’re the one being troubled by it day after day!
I have since kept quiet because someone on here said enough is enough... yet this discussion still seems very much alive? I’m still here and reading hoping for a solution.
It is the THREAD in general that has been reported, as far as I can gather, @GemmaJF, not your posts specifically. Your posts are just a small if vociferous part of the Thread. As are everyone elses, including mine. Sorry if I failed to make myself clear in my post, I reported the Thread, not your post(s).
Poor Daffodil, I feel your pain. Cat crap is pretty naff. But short of eradicating an entire species, I doubt if there's a Final Solution............
Do you understand what vociferous means?
My posts were honest, truthful and about my own personal experiences and knowledge of the subject.
Sorry if you find that in some way intimidating.
PS, I guess cat owners simply containing their pets isn't the solution?
It is working in parts of the US, NZ, Australia, Europe.
@GemmaJF, the THREAD has been reported which is therefore not some kind of personal attack on you.
If you are tired of it, why are you still contributing? It was the content of the posts stating the reporting that contained personal attacks directed at me. They are still there if you want to check.
"Never seen a thread pulled on the grounds it was too honest, truthful
and informed, or because it was dealing with a very real issue
experienced by gardeners throughout the UK."
I have seen many threads pulled when they spiral in to personal, ad hominem attacks, as cat threads do. Nobody is censoring anyone as 14 pages here and the many current other threads attest over years. The anti-cat lobby is loud and consistent.
@GemmaJF - if you look back you will see I have put my views forthrightly. Paranoia is rarely becoming or accurate. Whatever the view, I don't think banging the same spot on the same drum over and over for days is particularly useful. We get it.

So you say about ad hominem attacks and then suggest someone is paranoid.
Great.
If people don't expect a response from me, why keep tagging me in their posts?
PS there is an ignore button if you visit somebodies account, I suggest you use it if you do not like my response to your posts tagged and directed at me.
I have read these posts with some dismay at the anger expressed. I feel that the OP was not looking for advice rather just having a rant about a problem that is obviously upsetting them. This forum isn’t really the ideal place for that and it has obviously upset many people on here.. I would just say that Jeyes fluid is a toxic chemical probably best avoided as it is harmful to wildlife and also not the best around children.

Jeyes Fluid Decking Cleaner
Wooden decking is an attractive, convenient and low-maintenance way to enjoy your garden. But it’s important that your ‘outdoor room’ is kept clean and hygienic.
Jeyes Fluid Decking Cleaner is specially formulated to remove stains and algae without the need for scrubbing. It kills germs and mildew, leaving your decking clean and safe, and can also be used on wooden sheds and fences.
Jeyes Fluid Decking Cleaner is 100% safe to use around children and pets.
why can't folk just ignore a thread / member if they don't like what they read. How odd that their only contribution is " I'm reporting this". Some folk are indeed odd

Though thank you for your apology.

It really is that simple.
