Salvia Bicolour Blue

Big Blue SkyBig Blue Sky Posts: 716
The latest purchase from the local garden centre - Salvia Bicolour Blue. Looks so unusual with different colours on the same plant.
Just wondering if anybody has any experience with this plant? It looks a bit fragile so wouldn’t want to ruin it.
Also, is it annual or perennial?

I don’t have a huge amount of experience so maybe somebody else will be able to tell you better but I got one several weeks ago, as far as I know it’s perennial, and mine is doing really well, I’ve got it in part shade but I do notice it’s really quite thirsty

They have loads of these in our local g c. I wish I'd bought a tray!
    In London. Keen but lazy.

This is a Salvia farinacea "Victoria". Depending on where you live and and your soil type it is a hardy/half hardy perennial.

I would class it as half hardy, but you may be lucky !  :)

Thank you everybody for sharing your experience - really hope I can manage to keep the plant alive, it is sooo pretty and unusual 😊
