is fox-and-cubs / orange hawkweed / Pilosella aurantiaca poisonous to cats?

I usually use http://petpoisonhelp.wpengine.com/poisons/ to check if a plant is ok. As I'm giving it to someone else I wanted further assurance, rather than just its absence on the list, before I give it to her. It's in the flowerbed my cats sleep in so I'm not worried for myself at all.

Does anyone know specifically about this plant? thank you so much

No idea, but I grow it and the neighbours ginger tom likes nothing better to lie on my front lawn and he's OK so far.

Really? I can't get it to grow here. There's a couple of small patches growing wild up in the woods but it doesn't seem to be doing well or spreading much. I've wondered if we have the wrong soil.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

The friend's is in a pot and I expect it will stay in the pot, I have some (one) in a flowerbed and it hasn't spread at all. I have some others in a pot and they have spread in the pot but it's taken years. I think they need more sun than I'm able to give them.
