    Redshank ... Persicaria maculosa - a common weed of newly disturbed ground. Often seen in sugar beet fields 😃 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Thanks Dove, appreciated.

    Its heading for the compost bin, Well it would if I had one so it will go for burning. There's a few fields round here where the farmer grows beet as cattle feed must of drifted over from there.
