Moving a Himalayan Honeysuckle

Does anyone know if Himalayan Honeysuckle cope with being moved please? And if so can I do it now or should I want till autumn/winter?

I would move it in the autumn. If it is huge, maybe cut the lump into smaller bits for transplanting.

Thank you. I’ll hang on a bit then 😊

I tried it and it died. Take some cuttings and look for self seeders before you try.

Thanks B3, I’ve already taken some cuttings and I do have another, the one I want to move just appeared from nowhere and is in totally the wrong place but I’d rather try moving it than just get rid of it

Small seedlings move ok, in my experience , but mature plants  not so. On the plus side, they grow really fast.

Thank you. It’s not exactly a seedling, it’s probably about a year old. I’ll give it a go and see, I have got another and I’ve got some cuttings. As I said before it’s not in the right place at all but the main thing is I’ve got a Hydrangea that doesn’t seem very happy where it is so I need to move that and where the honeysuckle is now would be the best place for it
