I've the same greenhouse as AnniD mines a bit younger at 23! It's in full view in the garden so wanted something nice to look at. I do raise seeds but don't grow veg tomatoes etc. I've a fair few cacti and succulents which live on the top shelf.
Scented geraniums in the summer and cuttings etc. In the winter bulbs and Auriculas. I've never regretted buying it but yes I wish it was bigger, who doesn't?

It is really reassuring how well your greenhouses last. We moved 5 times in the last 9 years and I’m planning to stay where we are now for a good few years, but it’s good hear that they are solid enough to withstand a move.
I mentioned my greenhouse project to my neighbour today and he recommended building one myself, I think he might slightly overestimate my DIY skills, but it has made me think.

Hi Watsonia, what did you decide in the end and how did it go. I am now trying to make the same decision. BW

@jaynebullock after a lot of deliberation, I decided to go down the rectangular route as I found another space in the garden where I’m able to accommodate a slighter bigger greenhouse. However, just to make it more interesting I decided to build it myself as my neighbour recommend. So far I have put the cement foundations down and started on the dwarf brick wall. It will most likely take me a few month but I don’t mind. Fingers crossed it will work.
