How rude, but typical, from what I've seen of this forum,  of you all to hijack it in order to 'sound off' on your own viewpoints.
Forums are a place where topics are discussed and opinions shared. Sometimes people will ask that their threads be kept on topic but mostly people are happy for the free exchange of views and for the topic to evolve as the conversation progresses. Try not to think of it as rude as that would really just limit the benefits of the forum format.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

It is possible, it just needs a lot of investment and for people to have the necessary vision.

I'll leave it there though, I come here to talk about plants and ponds not to get into big ethical debates!
Thanks for the links, I will look into it with genuine interest.
