    It looks like Brachyglottis Greyi to me.

    I had never seen a shrub with these kind of daisy like flowers.  Very interesting to see that it is fully hardy in the UK.  This example was from Perth, Scotland

    I was brought up in Greenock and it was much planted around there. Very tolerant of salt spray .

    One of those shrubs under the category 'useful'. Something about the flowers and the grey leaves together seems a bit vulgar, or is it just that it's so commonly planted in neglected public plantings? I used a lot of it on a play ground scheme my company did, because it is bomb proof.
