Plant recommendations for a windy front door!

I would welcome any recommendations for an evergreen plant I can have in a pot at the side of my front door.  Currently I've a well established olive tree (in a 50 cm pot) but as the site gets really quite windy at times, and faces south, I'm not sure my olive is the best choice.

    Hi Michelle, I've also got an olive in a large pot beside our front door, although ours is more of a straggly bush than a neat lollipop. We live in a very windy situation on the side of a valley and so far the olive's surviving, including being left outside all winter, it hasn't toppled over yet but it is in a corner which might protect it.
    The other evergreen I have nearby is a large 12 year old box bush in a tall round terracotta pot which has also stayed upright. I think a box cone might be more wind resistant though.
