I grow peppers in 10L pots and chili in 5L (small thai type) or 10L for my Jalapenos
Wee guy is now in a 10L pot with some plant food and fresh soil. I couldn't believe how tight he was wedged into the old pot. Had to almost wedge him out and break through lots of roots. Thanks for the advice.
I believe everything is good with your chilli, moreover there is a chance it will give you more chillis. After we prune some branches our tree gave us lots of chilli, we couldn't understand what to do with them. We made grilled chillis, we preserved them, and made all the meal with chillis. So, as you can see that worth it. I want to say you have everything ahead.
It'll struggle outside @tommcmaster, if you don't have a greenhouse or cold frame. If you have it outside on any warmer days it'll help with pollination, but it's hard at this time of year - just not warm enough, and bees aren't always in great abundance just at the right times. It's the same for tomatoes. If you can even manage a couple of hours for them outside for a couple of weeks, it'll help. A wee corner somewhere, even with a bit of basic protection rigged up, or a spot where there are plenty of other bee friendly plants around. That should be enough. Failing that, some hand pollinating , as already said
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
