New turf looking brown

We laid a new turf yesterday but I’ve noticed today that some parts are looking quite brown. Is this recoverable or are they dead?

    Far too early to give up on it.
    Plenty of water and hopefully it will be fine.

    I agree, make sure you water every day, even if you get rain. 
    A quick Google "watering newly laid turf" will give you some idea of the amounts required. Turf laid at this time of year will be subject to more stress than turf laid in the autumn. 
    It will soon start to "take" and put down roots, just keep a close eye on it  :)
