Unidentified plants

karenktekarenkte Posts: 47
Firstly apologies for asking on plants and not actually having much knowledge to contribute.  I've taken on a garden with so many plants and I've booked myself on a garden course so hopefully I will start to learn.  I've identified a lot myself but I'm struggling on the ones below.  Any help appreciated.

Wow, it's so amazing how people can just recognise random plants....thank you so much.
Do you know if these are old fashioned cottage garden plants or not.

My pleasure, yeah, they're all good old fashioned Faves!
Watch the Phlomis when you come to cut it , it has millions of tiny hairs which can get stuck in your throat, or some find them irritating to the skin. Must add, lots of folk never have any problems with them

Ok I will watch out for that.   My garden is in a bad state as the house was empty ten years.  Before that an old lady had it and the garden was beautiful.  That's why I think maybe a lot of the plants are old fashioned cottage garden ones.   It's great to actually get that confirmed.  Really appreciate your help - I am trying to log every plant but it's difficult when you don't have much clue!  Thanks,
