Dog pee patches on lawn

Put a new lawn down a couple of month ago and it generally doing great apart from the bits where the dog is peeing resulting in burnt patches with lush green surrounding them.
Is there any plants or shrubs that I could plant that won't mind dog pee. Also read somewhere about something you put in the ground that attracts the dog to it, are these effective?

Rye and fescue grasses are more resistant than other kinds of grass used for lawns and you could also try training your dog to pee in one spot if you designate a doggy corner in your garden. There is a pheromone treated "doggy pee post" which can help with this.

I had visitors in February with a dog and my grass has only just recovered with lawn feeds / treatments and lots of rain. Plus I had to rake all the damaged parts over and reseed.
My mum trains guide dogs for the blind and they train their dogs to wee on concrete and its possible, the dog almost does it to order.
I would find some other place for your dog to go, maybe even fence off a part of your garden with paving for the dog.
The best thing is to train the dog because there will be poos too and you don't want those all over a small lawn. Scooping poop is much easier when you know where to look for it.
