It’s a growbag for tomatoes. No supports. I wish I had planned it better. Live and learn I guess. I did start putting bone meal and then I heard to be careful not to put too much so I only did it twice. And yes I was afraid to cut cut cut, I did a bit but not enough and regret it. I heard they shouldNt touch the ground either.
I did water every day until I went away for a week where my girlfriend took over and that’s when it happened, so I guess we did water them differently. That’s possible too. Thank you for your advice. I’ll take a better long shot pic and post.
Tomatoes really need very little care other than a consistent watering regime, and only food once the first truss of fruits set. There's more than enough nutrition in the medium they're planted in until they reach that point. They certainly don't need watering every day unless they're in smaller pots in a greenhouse, and even then - it's far better to let them get slightly dry before watering. They don't want to be sitting in permanently wet soil. They need a support put in early - so that they can be tied in. Then you can easily see where the sideshoots are forming, and can be removed.

Lol. Yes I want a genetically modified tomato plant Taylor made for me 😀 thanks for the advice. Yes it is a strawberry plant. I gave up on that. The birds keep eating the strawberries and I have no netting I’ll defo go for the cherry tomatoes next year and hopefully find it easier. Always wanted to plant veg. First time. there is a courgette plant in there too now. Guess it’s too much for the poor soil. Got carried away.
Don't grow other plants in with the tomatoes You need to do a bit of research on the conditions each veg/fruit likes, and plant accordingly. Strawberries need lots of food and water from early on. Tomatoes don't.

It is so rewarding growing vegetables and such.. I love putting meals together using the food I've grown. This forum is an excellent resource for next year.. just come on here with your ideas and plans.. and someone will have had experience to share. We all have successes and failures.. every year. And most of us are constantly experimenting or pushing the boundaries (if only a bit) of traditional wisdom when it goes to growing. Some times it works.. but mostly not. And that is okay.
I'm sorry we didn't get to help you earlier, when our advice could help @Olpallix its such a learning curve growing your own. It is easy if you know the basic steps, but that only comes from trying and asking, I'm still learning after 20 years.😁
No worries @Purpleralim it’s a learning curve all I had to do is ask. Everyone on here has been very very helpful. Wonderful to see. So I thank you all!!! 🙏
