You should be glad of any, as this is my sorry looking cherry, the only one of eight black cherry seeds to survive ( mind you the seeds are 3years old😊)

    With the tiniest of flowers

@purplerallim Oh thank you for the consolation ha! Your Alicante looks great though. I have a packet of Alicante seeds sent to me by my partner but I figured I already have too many.. I just counted 14 and I still have four more seedlings that I don’t know what to do with as there would no space to sit on my balcony if I were to pot them up too lol!

You always need to plant more seeds than you need in case of casualties,  this year I just had enough,  last year 34 of 36 grew!!! 😂

I have had really good germination rate this year.. I reckon it was at least 80% across the board, gardeners delight being the most reliable which is no surprise. The worst was actually tumbling bella, which I only got 4 seedlings out of 10, not that I need all ten anyway but..

I found from last year that Roma needs more room than most, so haven't so many in the greenhouse as last year, still have plenty plus three outside I had to find room for, well I just can't waste any can I . 😊

My black toms have started ripening, exciting times. Plus it distracts from my other failures.

That why I like some cherry ones. The Alicante look a good size,  but can sometimes just sit there before ripening, so the cherries usually pick first.
