Fence Paint Colour

I'm looking for suggestions on which colour I should colour fences
Garden has turf and raised garden beds using sleepers on either side which wil then have a few plants
It is currently brown
Was considering harvest gold or grey
All suggestions welcome
Thanks

Definitely not gold.  You don't want a light colour if you want it to disappear .Dark grey or black will make your garden appear bigger and you wont see the fence
If you actually want the fence to stand out, use a light colour .
I haven't done anything to mine and it's squirrel grey. You can't see them unless they move! That colour suits me. You need to decide the effect you want to achieve.

Another vote for black.  Sounds awful, looks great.

Been lots of threads on fence colours and yes black wins, followed closely by dark grey. Never harvest gold or that autumn oak type colour.

I think I'll go for the dark greyish colour
    I'm surprised by black...:)

    A good compromise😊

  • We’ve got both, front fence black, and rear some light colour from the previous owners. Black works really well, ages nicely, and everything pops against it. If I had the time I’d do all black.

I've used Urban Slate (Cuprinol Garden Shades), looks good to me, sometimes looks a bit blueish; perhaps black would have been better. I see loads of gardens using the same colour near me.
