These are in my allotment and I'm checking to see if they are edible

    Yes, 1st photo are redcurrants and the second shows blackcurrants.  There is bindweed (large leaf, upper left of photo #1) growing through the redcurrant bush - you want to get rid of that.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
